Other Edge Of Justice

One quiet weekend, a bad shipment of Ecstasy makes its way from California to the streets of the city. The major drug traffickers distribute the dangerous drugs through their usual channels to the lowly street dealers who let the poison loose on unsuspecting drug users all across the metropolitan area.
Five high schools are devastated as many teenagers die and a number of students end up in extended care facilities with brain damage.
Shortly after the students who died are buried, the local street dealers at each of the high schools are murdered, one after the other, and then their suppliers further up the drug hierarchy start losing their lives. Those traffickers at the higher echelons of the drug underworld are tracked down in Toronto, Ft. Lauderdale and Vail and they are all killed in the same way.
It's not long before the media and even the local police are calling the unsolved killings, The Oyster-Shucking Murders.
